Through friendly negotiations between the local Government in Xidi and Malthe Winje AS, Malthe Winje has agreed to build, operate and run a new Water Supply for 20 years. The company is 100% owned by Malthe Winje AS and the name of the company is Huangshan Xidi Water Supply Ltd, with a share capital of 400.000 USD.
Xidi is a old town listed on UNESCO`s World Heritage list, with about 7000 inhabitants. Xidi is located in Anhui Province, China.
The main industry are tourism, sericulture and tea. The local Government have big investment plans for developing the tourism, where clean water is an important part of this development.
Malthe Winje AS is looking forward to do this project in close cooperation with the local Government.
